Projects
These are the projects we publish: completed, in long-term stewardship, and under construction now. The Meadow House, a modern single-story house in a Litchfield meadow behind a knotty cedar screen, finished this year, and a Fairfield County Federal restored with a curatorial interior layer. The work moves between restoration and new build under one specification: hand-troweled lime over plaster grounds, fumed oak and reclaimed chestnut, fieldstone laid in lime mortar, unlacquered bronze, ceramic stoves and Rumford hearths, and a named workshop behind every fixed material. Read the index as a monograph table of contents. Each card carries the region, the scope, and one material line that places the house. For private homeowners and family offices restoring inherited fabric in Connecticut, New York State, and Massachusetts.
